Heinz Frei supports "Rückenwind plus" as Ambassador
Heinz Frei has been paraplegic and wheelchair-dependent since an accident during a mountain run in 1978. For the athlete from Oberbipp, it is clear: “I am wholeheartedly committed to this institution, knowing that many colleagues might one day depend on it themselves.”
The Swiss top athlete and pioneer in wheelchair sports visited the facility in Zurzach and immediately felt at home. “In the hospital, I used to always feel that not only my body but also my mind was confined to the hospital bed,” explains Heinz Frei. “At “Rückenwind plus”, you feel at home. This helps not only the body but also the psyche.”
The entire “Rückenwind plus” team is very much looking forward to the collaboration and support from Heinz Frei.
