Patient with Spinal Cord Injury

Since the age of 5, I have been an incomplete tetraplegic due to an accident. Last spring, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Many months of chemotherapy followed. A tremendous challenge to cope with alongside my paralysis.

The therapy left me increasingly weak. In this situation, I could no longer return to my own apartment and was very desperate that I would now be pushed off to some nursing home.
