Below, we inform you about the purpose for which Rückenwind plus collects, stores, processes or transmits your personal data. Additionally, we inform you about your rights that you can exercise within the scope of data protection.

Collection and Purpose of Data Processing

Data is collected by employees of Rückenwind plus within the framework of one or more interviews.

The purpose of data processing is the establishment of a network for people with spinal cord injuries and spinal cord-like symptoms, or neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and their relatives, which promotes the exchange of experiences and information.

Duration of Storage

The data will be stored for the duration of the network activities and destroyed as soon as they have fulfilled their purpose and are no longer needed. They will be stored for a maximum of 5 years.

By signing the document “Consent to Privacy Policy Patient and Family Interview”, you agree to the data processing by Rückenwind plus for the purpose stated above.

Data Transfer

Our employees respect your privacy and are bound by confidentiality. We only transmit your personal data, and in particular your medical data, to external third parties if you have given your consent or if we are legally obliged to do so. Data transfer is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.
